Why am I not receiving the SMS authentication code?

You may see the message “Failed to send SMS. Please try again” due to one of the following reasons:


✅ Common causes:

  • Incorrect mobile number (check country code and number format).

  • Weak or no mobile signal.

  • Carrier/network issues or outages.

  • Your phone blocks SMS from unknown or shortcode numbers.

  • Do Not Disturb is turned on, or you're using an SMS-filtering app.

  • You're using a landline or VoIP number.

  • Too many SMS requests in a short time.


✅ Troubleshooting tips:

  • Restart your phone and try again.

  • Wait a few minutes between attempts.

  • Use a different mobile number if available.

  • Make sure your phone can receive standard text messages.

  • Your full name and email address

  • Where you work

  • Time/date of your attempt

  • A screenshot of the error
