When a staff member leaves, their profile should be marked as Inactive in the portal and not deleted.
Here’s why this is important:
Training and compliance records are retained for audit purposes and future reference.
Inactive users no longer have access to the system, but their data remains safely stored.
If the employee returns or joins another Better Compliance client, our support team can easily transfer their profile and training records, saving time and avoiding duplicate work.
? Never delete a user, as it removes their records from the active system and makes them harder to recover. While our Technical team can restore deleted data if needed, the process can be time-consuming. Keeping users marked as Inactive is a faster, safer way to retain important training and compliance history for audits, legal needs, or possible re-employment.
