Can I export training records for an audit or EHO inspection?

Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) typically do not require printed copies of training certificates. Most are perfectly happy to view digital records, especially if they are well-organized and easily accessible online.

When using a system like Training Tracker, EHOs can quickly:

  • View staff training history and completion dates

  • Check if certifications are current and relevant

  • Review uploaded external certificates

  • Access incident records and reports (if needed)

However, for added reassurance:

  • It's always a good idea to confirm with your local authority or EHO in advance.

  • You can also export and print certificates or training records if a physical copy is ever requested.

Having everything in one digital place not only keeps you compliant but also makes EHO visits smoother and more efficient.
