A self-audit can help you, or your teammates, assess and track your venue's compliance with the latest laws and regulations. To perform a self-audit, or view or update a previous audit, head to the Premises Licence Self-Audits screen, by using the options on the Main Menu or Dashboard. On this screen you will be able to start a new audit or view the date and compliance score of past audits:
The compliance score is calculated by using the number of areas that you have indicated compliance or non-compliance in, against the importance of each item. The score disregards areas marked as "Not Applicable".
You can create or edit an audit, to view and indicate compliance in a certain area. Once you've opened an audit report, you will see some categories, each containing a few questions:
You can now indicate that you are compliant by marking "Yes" or "No" next to each question. Some questions (marked in red), will be applicable to all venues, and need to be answered before you can save the audit and obtain your score. You can add Notes or indicate steps that you will take to remediate non-compliance, in the box below each questions. More information regarding the compliance objective can also be found by clicking on the "Show More Information" link, at the bottom of the box.
When you are not compliant in a certain area, an extra field will also show where you can choose a date on which you would like to be reminded, via e-mail, that you need to update the audit, after becoming compliant. You can opt-out of receiving this reminder, by clicking on the button next to the field.
Once you've answered all of the audit questions, you can save the audit's responses and optionally add attachments or evidence of your compliance, by using the box below the compliance form.
